Rob Russo is a dedicated and experienced leader who has been an integral part of Port Jersey Logistics for the past 32 years. As a second-generation owner and manager of the company, he takes great pride in continuing the entrepreneurial tradition. Throughout his tenure, Rob has held various key positions, starting as the IT Director, then Executive Vice President, President, and currently serving as the CEO. His journey at Port Jersey has empowered him to challenge the status quo and develop innovative, value-added solutions that truly benefit customers' supply chains. Rob's contributions also extend beyond the organization, as he has served on the Board of Directors for both the Traffic Club of New York (TCNY) and the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA).
Jeff Ramella brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his role as President of Port Jersey Logistics. His journey began when he joined a third-party logistics startup as its first employee, spearheading the recruitment, training, and development of a sales team across the eastern seaboard. His contributions helped the company expand to offices in four states, and Jeff eventually became a partner who negotiated the sale of the business to private equity in 2016, after which he took the opportunity to continue his sales and leadership journey within the new company in the New York City Metro Area. In May 2020, Jeff began his next chapter by joining Rob and the executive team at Port Jersey Logistics. He started as the Director of Business Development, then Corporate Vice President, and now serves as the President, where his dedication and vision are driving Port Jersey to new heights.
With over eight years at Port Jersey Logistics, Gary is an accomplished supply chain operations executive, specializing in third-party logistics, distribution, and contract packaging. Previously serving as the Director of Operations, followed by his current role as Corporate Vice President, Gary has consistently showcased his expertise across various product domains. His background encompasses a wide range of services, including pool consolidation, temperature control, and ambient facilities within a public or contractual model. Gary has fostered excellent relations with strategic customers, aligning business growth with the corporate operating plan. With his managing $30 million in profit and loss statements and directing seven warehouses, with a total area of 900,000 square feet and annual volumes of 35,000,000 units/cases shipped, Gary brings valuable industry knowledge to Port Jersey Logistics.
As an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience and a keen eye for detail, Phil has been an invaluable asset to Port Jersey Logistics since joining in 2020. He plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Phil also is responsible for evaluating and modeling new business opportunities and acquisitions. Before his role as Controller, Phil held positions as a Senior Accountant at Mazars USA and as a Senior Tax Accountant at Hertz Herson.
