It all began when our founder, Bob Russo, purchased his first truck and started as a pickup and delivery carrier serving the grocery industry in New York and New Jersey. Tyler Distribution was established in 1984 to provide our customers with warehousing services. From its origins on Tyler Street in Newark, N.J., to over 800,000 square feet of space across Central New Jersey and Georgia today, Tyler Distribution has served food-centric customers for four decades. Our initial focus was on specialty food products imported from around the world. We became a strategic distribution point, handling nationwide distribution for many customers, streamlining their operations and ensuring efficient supply chains.

Today, Tyler Distribution continues to serve the specialty food market, along with food ingredients, organic and natural products, beverages, health and beauty aids, personal care products, and other consumer packaged goods. Our operations have expanded to serve as a bi-coastal warehouse for importers or a regional distribution center for importers and domestic manufacturers. We offer the expertise and flexibility to build an efficient outsourced distribution model that meets your specific needs.

Continental Logistics was founded in 1983 to address the transportation needs of Port Jersey Logistics’ customers outside the Northeast region. Over time, we grew into a full-service transportation management and logistics services provider, becoming the sole transportation offering service to customers beyond Port Jersey Logistics in 2011. In 2016, we further expanded our operations by launching a logistics services division, solidifying our position as a premium transportation provider.

Having started in the food vertical, Continental Logistics understands the stringent requirements of major national and local food distribution centers. Our experience, speed of service, and focus on compliance have laid the foundation for us to handle any challenge, regardless of the market or size.
