Continental Logistics Announces New Director of Transportation & Logistics

We're excited to announce that Jeff Braun, CTB has been promoted to Director of Transportation & Logistics of Continental Logistics and Port Jersey Logistics. In this role, Jeff is responsible for the development, management, and strategic planning of Port Jersey's transportation business unit, Continental Logistics, a national transportation provider. Prior to transitioning into the Director role, Jeff served as a Senior Business Development Manager, where he acquired 19 new accounts for Tyler Distribution while transforming Continental's Logistic Services team to increase revenue by 101% in 2019. Jeff holds his Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) from the TIA and is a Co-Chair on the TIA's Young Executive Committee.

Jeff joined Port Jersey in 2017 from JB Hunt as a Business Development Manager. He handled multiple projects while maintaining a track record of building new business and forging strong relationships with clients and prospects. Jeff was awarded the ICS Sales Awards year over year. Prior to JB Hunt, Jeff started his career with Total Quality Logistics where he acquired a Fortune 100 account and was the top-ranking Account Executive in his cohort.

In his former career, Jeff was an Offensive Lineman in the National Football League where he played with the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins. At West Virginia University, Jeff started 39 games for the Mountaineers and was nominated for the 2012 Senior CLASS Award and the 2012 NFF Campbell Trophy. Jeff holds a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University. A native of Maryland, Jeff now resides in Tewksbury, NJ with his wife, Katelyn and their son, Liam.
